Digi Know – Microsoft Accessibility Checker

Accessibility

‘Digi’ know that Microsoft has an inbuilt Accessibility Checker tool to help you create accessible files.

For example in Word with your document open, choose the File tab…

Click Check for Issues then, Check Accessibility.

The Accessibility Checker will open in a panel on the right, with results from its inspection.

When you choose an item from the Inspection Results, Word will select that item in the document.

And below the Inspection Results list, Word explains why and how to fix the issue you’ve selected.
